JOSUE VILLEDA

 
 

Born and raised in Guatemala City. Josué is a self-taught contemporary dancer. He started training in jazz and hip-hop in 2005, contemporary in 2009, and ballet in 2012. He has worked as a teacher, choreographer, and artistic director of The Dance Factory, GUA. In 2016, he became the principal dancer at Espiral Danza Dance Company. In 2022 Josué left his country, seeking opportunities in the United States, where he joined the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company as a member of Cleo II in Denver, CO. In 2023, he danced for Tristian Griffin Dance Company in Converge I, and The Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellow Program at Jacob’s Pillow.

Now based in San Francisco, CA, he’s teaching in dance studios in the Bay Area, designing and creating clothes, and working on personal artistic projects.
